Welcome to our lighter summer menu.

As the days become warmer and the holiday season begins we have decided to regularly refresh our menu to reflect seasonal tastes and produce availability.

This will continue until Friday 19th August when the kitchen will close for our annual recharge, returning Tuesday 30th August with our new autumn menu.

THE BREAKFAST CLUB

Served until 2pm

Both Breakfasts are served with toast from a choice of granary, crusty white or (GF) bread

TRADITIONAL BREAKFAST £9.95

Free range egg, fried or scrambled with bacon, sausage,

tomato, black pudding, mushrooms and baked beans.

Available 2pm to 5pm

Pot of tea or cafetiere of coffee with a selection of mini cakes, strawberries and a scone with strawberry jam and clotted ceam plus a choice of finger sandwiches from either :-

POSH PRAWN COCKTAIL £8.50

Juicy king prawns with a Marie rose sauce and avocado on a bed of crisp lettuce.

Romaine lettuce leaves, croutons and shaved parmisan with a creamy Ceasar dressing (v)

BRUSSELS PATE £5.50

A classic smooth textured pate with pork liver, parsley and black pepper served with a side of toast and salad.

THE MAIN EVENT

TRADITIONAL FISH & CHIPS £12.95

Fillet of cod, hand battered in our own beer batter and served with chips, peas and tartare sauce.

SAUSAGE & MASH £8.95

Pork or vegetarian sausages, mashed potato, peas and onion gravy (v option)

JUICY BURGERS £9.95

Served in a brioche bun with salad, chips and battered onion rings.

Add bacon, cheddar or stilton for 50p each.

Also Veggie Burger available (v)

HAM, EGG AND CHIPS £8.75

Simply grilled and served with baby herb potatoes and green beans.
